On May 11, 2016, Leonard Segal Discussed 12 Employment Law Issues as part of Minnesota CLE’s “The Complete Lawyer” Program

On May 11, 2016, as part of Minnesota Continuing Legal Education’s “The Complete Lawyer” program, Lenny Segal and a co-presenter addressed 12 employment law issues frequently faced by employers and employees.  Lenny provided the employer perspective on each of these issues while his co-presenter discussed the employee perspective.  Among others, Lenny and his co-presenter addressed the following topics: Can an employer fire an employee for criticizing her boss on Facebook?  Are non-competition agreements enforceable in Minnesota?  Can an employer require an employee to take a drug and alcohol test and terminate an employee for a positive test result?  Is an employee protected if he reports a violation of the law?
