On September 27, 2022, attorney Kyle Moen joined a panel of local experts to discuss business exit planning. The presentation – “Growing your Business with EXIT in Mind” – addressed a myriad of legal, financial, and practical business considerations for why owners should start planning their exit long before they are ready to leave. Questions addressed by the panel included:

- What are different ways leave my business besides just selling to an outsider?
- What are the top factors impacting business valuation?
- What can I do now to maximize the value of my business later?
- When is the best time to sell my business?
- What should I do before I try to sell my business?
- What information should I collect on my business to make the sale process run smoothly?
The presentation was attended by approximately 50 local business owners who participated in-person and engaged in a lively discussion with the panel.
